Still a great team. Just shows hockey’s growth in the USA

Excited to the see players states like Texas, California, and Florida will produce over the coming decades. The south's starting to step up their hockey programs.

It's surprising and ironic how many of these players play for Canadian teams lol.

Even just look at team USA from the 2010 Olympics. This team is better than that on paper. And that’s without KEY states. USA hockey is exponentially growing

As much as I hate to admit it, I feel like there will be a day when USA is a better hockey country than Canada. I don't think that will be too soon, maybe in about 30-40 years. But nonetheless, USA is rapidly growing as a hockey superpower.

I mean with 330+ million people and the largest economy in the world, if people all of the sudden get interested in hockey and development programs start improving (which it has) then yeah i 100% agree it’s only a matter of time. People in the US, especially the sun states, didn’t care about hockey for decades. That’s starting to change now. American has the population and capital to become a hockey giant, just like all their other sports. It’s just a matter of popularity

I think it's also a matter of whether hockey is able to do a better job of diversifying the game as we move forward. There's such a huge part of the population in America that hardly even knows about hockey yet alone cares about it. If they can start doing a better job of marketing and getting POC into hockey and they begin to introduce hockey to their kids, we could see an even bigger boom in the USA hockey program as well the popularity of the game in general.
