Can they survive the offseason with no cap raise? Let's see.

I will assume Jake Allen gets taken in the expansion draft. It's kind of SEA's best option. Alternately, if they do 7F and 3D, they will have one of Edmundson/Chiarot available. But I think Allen will put up too good of numbers this year to get passed up on by SEA. If MTL goes 4F and 4D, though, then SEA will definitely be taking one of the good wingers exposed. Anyway to be safe - as the cap numbers won't be too different either way - let's assume Allen will be taken.

Notes after completion: As we see, even with extremely team friendly deals, this is really tight. I think they will either lose one of Tatar or Danault unless they can find a way to move Byron's contract. They can also consider not signing Lehkonen and get someone else at league minimum. Or, with Romanov emerging, maybe they won't mind losing Chiarot/Edmunson... this would save them ~1mil over SEA taking Allen. Still, with no cap raise, it will be very tight.
