He wants center And I’m not disagreeing with you that’s why I’m just not a big fan of going after guys that whine where they’re at

If he plays well, he will be on the Crosby line... if he's still complaining after that, he's hopeless

they played him 15 minutes of 5v5/even strength last year per game. He got 12 goals 29 points.
What part of that says "should play with Crosby?"
He's done nothing to earn ice time, he was handed it and did nothing with it.
If we are just going to insert someone on Crosby's line, go get Poulin and get it over with. It probably ends better.

Agreed. He's super talented but hasnt really shown he can handle a bigger role. That's why the jets are just sitting on him...he's got zero leverage and the jets have enough bottom 6 guys to fill his spot.
THe jets never really gave him a legit shot at C which bothered me. THey ran him out as the 4C, but not with a lot of talent and limited minutes

but how could you give him a legit shot at C. The guy rolled out and 44% his faceoffs.
Unless you are performing like a superstar, your not getting top 6 C minutes with that.

I didnt say anything about top 6, he needs to earn that on any team. But if a team is willing to let him learn the center position at the NHL level i think it's worth a shot.
