So with this Draft I see a lot of young players unprotected and a lack of solid top centers. So I built my team around taking players that I could package for a first line center. Not my dream scenario would be Buffalo having a really bad year and Eichel demanding a trade out. I would offer a package that would include: Jake Bean, Luke Kunin, Kieffer Bellows, Filip Gustavsson, and Seattle's first round pick in the draft. Now if that wouldn't work, id look for other options. If worst came to worst I would draft Derek Stepan. I also think it would be rather easy to trade for Tyler Johnson if we are going to explore the Seattle connections. But my lines would be as such;
1st: LW- JVR C-Whoever I could trade for RW-TJ Oshie
2nd:LW-Nick Ritchie C- Sam Bennett RW- Tyler Pitlick
3rd: LW- Jordan Greenway C- Cody Eakin RW- Samuel Blais
4th: LW- Andrew Copp C- Teaddy Blueger RW- Martin Frk

D1: LD- Ryan Graves RD- Kevin Shattenkirk
D2: LD- Travis Dermott RD- Radko Gudas
D3: LD- Jamie Oleksiak RD- Connor Murphy

Goalies:
Braden Holtby the starter
Jake Allen the backup

I think selecting Anton Khudobin from Dallas would be better than UFA Jamie Oleksiak, who might walk two weeks later. You'd then have three NHL-experienced goalies and you could probably flip one of them for at least a second-round pick. (Ottawa has some interesting forward prospects who will be exposed instead of Gustafsson.)

Thanks for the welcome. So I left a lot out in my first post because I didnt want to write a novel. Jamie Oleksiak I picked assuming the Stars would resign him. He is big and if I was an expansion team id want guys like him and Gudas on the team to make it tough to play against. If im going to brutally honest I am not yet sold on Khudobin although I could understand why Seattle would take him. As for the Ottawa pick, I went with Gustavsson because he is a young goalie who I think has starter potential. The main reason being if I am going to create a large package to try and land a solid first line center, I wanted the package to include a solid goalie prospect, a great Defensemen, and then one or two forwards along with a first round pick. Even if I couldnt land a huge first line center I would still pick Jake Bean. But if no deal would be made for Gustavsson I would likely grab Stepan or Paquette.
