None of these trades are going to happen cause the Habs are not going to be out of the playoffs at the deadline and if they were then the first thing that would happen is CJ would be fired and MB would follow after the season.

If Price gets injured Allen replaces him and Primeau becomes the backup or splits duties, so no issues there this year. If Weber gets injured the D becomes Chairot-Petry, Romanov-Edmundson, Mete-Juulsen/Fleury so again no issues there. That is what good depth gives you, plus Guhle could potentially step in as well if we were in dire need of another D man. In order to really screw the pooch this season (if we are talking Hypotheticals) Suzuki, KK, Weber, Petry, Price and Allen would all have to get season ending injuries, and that is such a remote possibility that no one could be considered at fault. I mean it is not like we are the Bruins where we will be without 2 of our best players to start the season and our depth drops off a cliff after the 1st line.
