I looked pretty carefully at your protected lists and agree with just about all of them -- for what that's worth. My only major comment is that I think Colorado would prefer to lose Ryan Graves rather than Nazem Kadri, and my only minor comment is that I think Los Angeles would prefer to lose Olli Maata rather than Kale Clague. (But I could easily be wrong on both!)

You’re absolutely right about Oli Maataa. He’s essentially a stop gap in their rebuild and will be gone when his contract is up anyways.

And you’re probably right about the the Kadri/Graves situation as well. With Byram coming up, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the big Colorado defensemen get dealt before the expansion draft happens.

Johnson has the NMC but I bet they’ll try hard to move him out.
