I understand Kadri is a little low but I think he would take a cut to win.
Also the flat cap ends 2023 so we will have enough to sign mack with ej off the books as well.

Avs would probably only sign one of Saad or Kadri to be realistic, they cant keep both, and with Newhook coming and the glut of Cs in the system they can move on from Kadri after his deal.

One prospect to note is Nikolai Kovalenko, hes legit and there is huge desire for the avs to bring him over after this season, if he comes over hes a full-time NHLer on the 3rd line

Not really. I dont think you move Jost, there is value with how cheap he will be during the Avs cup window with the Mackinnon contract. Especially trading him for Asplund which seems like a downgrade. You are giving Compher and Donskoi away, cant be moving solid NHLer for so little of return

Dont see the value in re-uping Calvert after this year, they need his money off the books
