My concern is with Az and their desire to wait out the financial chaos both internal/external by holding onto their special young assets, if anyone doesn't it's them

Because not only are they trading the best player in the deal (Nylander) they are also trading a 1st.

Leafs are very happy running a tandem of Soup and Freddy.

Hill, Garland and Keller haven't proved themselves to worth Nylander on their own let alone adding the better goalie, and a 1st. Kerfoot is no slouch either.

Arizona takes on too much cap to make a it feasible......Why can't people learn Hossa means nothing for cap purposes?
Leafs don't make the deal either. Nothing really in for them. Hill might be a NHLer. Keller is questionable 7.1m player. Leafs have even small forwards so Garland isn't really needed.
