What's the Getzlaf trade motivation from either side?

Those 3 bridge deals need to be either shorter term or more money.

Think Anaheim has already been shopping getzlaf. I think it solves cap after one year of being very tight. 4/5 yr contracts would be gone creating 9 mil next year for Coleman and goody who are more valuable than killorn or Johnson. Anaheim would do it for all their getting back for a player that will walk in the offseason anyway. Especially since Johnson has made it known he wants to be picked by whatever teams he’s on to go to Seattle.

If you need to make a 2nd a first or both for it to go through then tb should do it. Instead of a band aid they can make permanent cap room for goody and Coleman and pointer is not that far away either

MOSTLY agree but I don't put Goodrow ahead of Killorn in value .. he younger but Killorn is gritty CAREER .5 pts/game player who doesn't get hurt and coming off his best year of 6 year career so far .. 3 years at $4.4 AAV with no NTC clause next year? .. huge value.. I like Goodrow but ill take current/near future ability vs. potential

Related note .. I would take Coleman over both .. Coleman could be 5 year $20M contract next year
