Description

If the Caps don't make another move this is what I feel like the lineup would be. Sprong as the 3rd line RW would be the perfect position for him. The Caps signed him to a 2 year 1way deal. So I can't see him being scratched or sent to the AHL. I still think the Caps need to move one of Panik, Hagelin, or Jensen. But if they move a forward, they don't really have anyone in house to replace them unless they like Gersich a ton. The problem with Gersich is that he's just another player who's got speed with no talent. He can be an energy guy, but that is about it. If you guys have any other opinions. Let me know!

Orlov isn't very good on the right side. I have no idea why this site has him listed as an RD. Jensen is also not great on his off-side. Forward group looks good, I like Sprong on the third line with more defensively responsible players like Eller and Hagelin.

I think the defensive corps end up looking like:

Dillon - Carlson
Orlov - Schultz
Fehervary/Siegenthaler - Jensen

I think TVR is more of an insurance policy for Schultz, since he's pretty darn injury prone. I really think that's why Jensen hasn't been moved, since he's still capable of a second or third pairing deployment. What I'd really love is Schultz getting some sheltered deployments.
