- Reporter with The Score (well-known Canadian sports outlet) reported that a source close to Hall says he may be closing in on a short-term deal with COL. The validity of this report obviously remains to be seen, and salary amount unreported, but even $6M is shockingly below market...
- Graves filed for his arbitration rights (as he should) but I expect something reasonable to get done soon
- Sounds like Timmins is recovering and should be fine to write in for a roster spot next year
- Is Byram gonna play abroad next year or are they going to give him a chance with the Avs? That's a lot of youth on the blueline. It's a lot of studs, but a lot of inexperience for a Cup Contender...

Is finding a way to free up >$1M seriously all that stands between rolling out a roster with Hall if he's really willing to take a lowball deal for a shot at the Cup?
Does anyone doubt Joe's ability to find someone to take a contract like Donskoi or Cole with a nearly full complement of draft picks in the coming years and a stacked prospect pipeline?

Yes, I know this scenario is beyond absurd, but is it 100% out of the question right now? Would you really be THAT shocked to wake up tomorrow and see a report that Taylor is signing with the Avs?
