Florida already said barkov is the one guy they won't trade, and even if they were you still would have to add more.

Can't see NSH giving up this much for two years of Barkov, or FLA accepting this offer. The 1st would need to be lottery protected for NSH to even negotiate something based on Barkov, as they're not looking like a strong playoff team, even with these moves.



Just out of curiosity, which NSH player is the underachiever? Fabbro had an uneven rookie season, but I don't think it's too concerning. Tolvanen's development in the AHL has been steady. I know his crazy KHL season gave a lot of people unreasonable expectations, but it's not like he's fallen behind the other prospects from that range in his draft class.
