It gives Ottawa an option if they want to leave him off LTIR to make cap minimum also.

Yeah your'e off.

You want OTT to take on two bad contracts by including Virtanen and Gadjovich, yet we'd have to give up Abramov and a 3rd... which is essentially a wash. So Ottawa would be taking these contracts on for free more or less.

Pass.

Abramov and Gadjovich are closer to each other. Jake is not close to a third. Jake it the biggest possible asset Van is moving this off season and Sven will fill a roster spot and only has one year left.

Ferland and whether Ott wants the LTIR is the only question I don't know about.

Your rankings of value is wrong and doesn't concern me.

- Least season in the AHL... Gadjovich 38GP - 13G - 0.44PPG vs Abramov 51GP - 18G - 0.80PPG. Much better progression in 2nd pro season for Abramov than Gadjovich.

- Virtanen has 5 pro seasons under his his belt, never passed 20 goals or 40 pts in a season, was just called out for his play by both Coach and GM, was healthy scratch at times, has a QO of $1.4M and has Arbitrations rights. Also pretty common knowledge hes a party guy.

Even if you think Ottawa is getting the better return in deal of Abramov + 3rd for Virtanen + Gadjovich, it's nowhere big enough of an upgrade/return to take on two cap dump contracts.

Your overvaluing of Virtanen and unawareness of what it costs teams to dump contracts DOES concern me.
