Willy for Mantha?..... care to justify?

I don't get it either but you don't have to worry Detroit isn't going to trade Mantha. In fact all the signs point to him signing a long term deal in Detroit.

I thought it was a bit weird at first too but it seems like an even trade though. Their production is pretty even and Mantha has more size and strength which is probably better suited for playoff hockey where as Willy kinda falters. Obviously I don't think it'll happen though

Detroit isn't giving up that much for Johnsson and i'm not sure anyone else would either. Personally I think his value is around a late 3rd or an early 4th. If he has another 20g season then he will be worth a couple of picks and a prospect. He was on pace for 13 goals this season and in his first game back from injury he looked awful.

Nylander & Larkin would look pretty good together.
Mantha is the kind of player Leafs would be looking for.

But Mantha - Larkin - Bertuzzi look even better together. Larkin is the corner stone of Detroit's rebuild and Mantha is Detroit's most talented and best offensive player. Larkin, Mantha and Bertuzzi will be in Detroit for quite a while.
