I’m trying to get a fair assessment of Laines trade value Knowing his next contract will be huge.. Top pair right shot D in dumba, middle 6 forward who has potential but hasn’t gotten a good shot in donato and a 1st. what would need for get added or adjusted to make it a fair value. Totally spit balling here. Would you rather have an Addison instead of dumba or a prospect like A boldy or giroux. Give me some thoughts

The cirelli is fair value with a Cheaper shut down center and a 1st and a Cheap D to step in. greenway would be a good fit with the rangers.

This would make life interesting for the wild having fiala, laine, Brodin and KK to pay at the same time.

I don't think we have room for Greenway but I like this trade. If they move a winger it could work.

Both Tampa and Winnipeg decline, For $5 million per Cirelli stays in Tampa. No way Dumba+Donato+Pittsburgh's 2021 1st round pick gets you Patrik Laine tons of teams would beat that offer Carolina being one of them.

Winnipeg wouldn't take Dumba as a main piece for Laine and a 4th liner doesn't add much value. I don't see Minnesota having the pieces that Winnipeg would require.

I figure realistically cirelli is more like 6mm I was just putting whatever for this. paying more attention to the laine portion to see how feasible that would be.

If Greenway can play RW he'd be a good fit. We have an opening for a 3/4 RW (assuming Fast doesn't come back.)

I'm a big fan of getting an actual roster player back for Georgiev. Pick could probably stand to be a 4th instead of a 5th, but I like the trade.

Thing is when Kravtsov deal with Traktor ends he'll be in the NHL and you have Buchnevich,Kakko,Kravtsov,Gauthier on the RW and Kreider,Panarin,Lafreniere,Lemieux on the LW. Someone has to move for it to work.

i know this is a possibility, but I kind of hope it doesn't happen. Krav playing a full season in the KHL and then being brought over to immediately play the majority of another full season is just setting him up for failure. Maybe bring him over and let him play whatever he needs to play to be eligible for the playoffs (if we're contending), but the kid is gonna need some rest.

Oh great point for sure! I think that all falls on him. Maybe give him some time in the AHL?
