Not a chance the Leafs make that trade. Hockey value aside, Dubas and Co are not bringing DeAngelo onto this roster.

I say this as a Nylander fan, I would take that trade. But I think our cap situation would actually be worse off

May not have to, the unknown would be how much Georgiev and DeAngelo would sign for, but I assume that would be all sorted out before the trade was done

I think Georgiev would be at $2M and DeAngelo around $5M

If that's the case, then all we would have to do is trade Andersen for prospects/picks or whatever to make sure we can make it work. This would probably help us big time with cap.
