That Boston deal is horrendous for the leafs.

Nylander himself would net Debrusk and a 1st. Imagine my surprise then at seeing that the Bruins would trade Debrusk FOR Nylander AND two first round picks.

I doubt the Coyotes are interested in dealing picks or taking on even more cap/salary, but I bet they'd do Demers or Hjalmarsson and Fischer for Kerfoot and Engvall. Demers would be cap neutral. Hjalmarssson adds an extra million going the Leafs way.

Well there isnt really agreeing to disagree on something thats just wrong lol

its like me saying Crosby is better than Gretzky, you saying "dude thats wrong", and me saying "agree to disagree".

Debrusk and Nylander are both top 6 wingers, around the same age, both go into periods of success and periods of dryness

The biggest difference though is that nylander is a bit older and has a larger cap (yeah debrusks contract will be a bit smaller), oh and debrusk is more physical.

So IF ANYTHING debrusk is worth more, BUT i wont even say that because I am unbiased

I try not to share my views on teams here and be unbiased, however I will let you know my views on two teams here. I need you to know that I am unbiased: I sincerely dislike both the Leafs and Bruins. In fact, they're my two least favorite teams in the league. I don't have a horse in the race: it was just a matter of personal opinion.

If I were the Maple Leafs, I would not make this deal. You may consider that opinion to be wrong, however the fun thing about this site is that we can have opinions. At the end of the day, neither of us (nor anyone on this site) is an NHL GM. I like Nylander's abilities more. I like that Debrusk has more snarle to his game. Both are good players, but I'd rather have Nylander and, regardless of the opinions, trading Nylander AND two first round picks for a player that you just said was similar in value is....well, how did you put it?....something that's just wrong (and you put an "LOL" at the end of it, too, just to accentuate the fact that you thought someone else's opinion was funny compared to your own. Which was mature.).

In the end, let's just agree to disagree.

I wouldnt make this deal either as the leafs, they get screwed lol, we absolutely agree on that one
But to say debrusk and a 1st for nylander is jsut the exact opposite, bruins get screwed. Again so agree to disagree on some things, but debrusk for nylander 1 for 1 is the only way this one could possible go (maybe debrusk and a 6th idk lol, again just being realistic here)
