We don't need more defenseman as Chara and Krug will return. Edmundson sucks; you don't give him that much money and those minutes.
Overpaid for Fast; he's a 3rd liner on a good team. Same for Vesey. If you plan on adding grit, at least do it at a reasonable price.
Not enough $ for Grzelcyk.

I love Chara and everything he has done for the organization. But there comes a time when its time to cut ties with a player. And if Krug is asking 7 mil, I feel that is too much. He brings a lot to the table but not enough to compensate for the lack of forward depth. And I absolutely love Tuukka, but I would not be surprised if he retires. The man is all about family and he has already brought up retirement.
I wouldn't say Edmundson sucks, I did definitely switch him and Dillon around as I think Dillon could handle a few more minutes a game. As for Fast and Vesey, Fast was playing on the second line for NY and did great in that spot. He may not pot them, but he digs them out for others. But if thats the case, throw him on the 3rd with Vesey and Coyle and watch that lines production go from 30 points combined to 60. And like i said, idk if all the numbers were right, i took what they were making and added a little. and if you think Grz is underpaid, use that overpayment and 2 mil in cap space to top him off.

I wouldn't say 20 points with a plus-12 on the 3rd line of Buffalo sucks... when he averaged 30 on the Rangers the 3 years before... that's a solid 3rd liner.
