Okay and once again Anaheim has an internal budget. Simmonds is a right handed RW/LW and Anaheim needs a top 6 LW so once again how does Simmonds help them and Streit even with $1 million retained still makes $4.25 million so in other words Anaheim takes on more then $4 million extra on when they're trying to shed salary. So ask me again how does this deal make sense for Anaheim.

Both Lindholm and Rakell will most likely get $1 million more then what you've listed here.

Flyers aren't giving up Simmons for that middling package. Seems very unDevil like to take on 8.5m in salary just because the Ducks want cap space. Wonder how those NTCs are affected.

Last thing Flyers need is a LHD and no way Simmonds moves.

Ducks don't keep Streit. They move him to the Devils for less than market value. Devils will take him because they can easily swap him at the deadline for a 2nd or more as a rental since he will be a UFA.

Devils take Stoner because they need defensemen and again, pay basically nothing to get him.

And yes, Flyers probably don't do that deal, but didn't know how much being able to move Streit now would be worth to them.
