You just need a better coach, forwards who want to back check and Dmen that can block shots and move bodies and a goalie that can stop a beach ball....other than that, it's a good playoff pretender team.

I think TJ Brodie would do wonders for their defense.

Johnsson for Larsson is fine.

While the Leafs are giving up 2 years of control, Larsson's probably the best 1 v 1 defender you'd get back for Johnsson.

Tippett was 5th in Jack Adams voting and turned the worst P.K. into the 2nd best sooo... I think we’re fine.


Also, I’d rather keep Larsson than trade him for Peanuts. 2nd pairing RD aren’t exactly on the market right now I’m sure we could get much more than a decent 3rd line guy

Brodie is also at the same level as Larsson- so why move him? Nurse was the guy to blame in the playoffs, not Larsson, who played a single game

Brodie is much better than Larsson (not even close). Larsson is a low end 4D. Brodie is a 3D.
