I personally don't think the Ottawa deal is even remotely close to something they accept.

Never mind that DeAngelo is a polarizing player. We'll just ignore the fact that he's probably the bigger sack of garbage in the league because while it does matter and does have an impact in a trade, we'll take it out of this discussion for argument's sake. It still leaves behind a guy who can't play defense for the life of him and offers only 50% of the game (which he can do pretty damn well though). He's so bad on defense that it sacrifices some of his worth offensively, but again, let's just say he's worth the offense pick up. Regardless, Sens aren't moving Shane Pinto, who just outperformed a bunch of guys who were drafted above him and looked elite at the WJC. They'll hang on to him and the picks instead of spending it on probably the most one dimensional player in the NHL, especially when offensive D are the least of their concerns when they've got Chabot currently, and Wolanin, Brannstrom and Thomson who project as offensive minded D that are up and coming. They'd maybe do it for just the 2nds, but in no way would they move a prospect of that quality in return. I don't think DeAngelo is worth that much, but even if he was, Ottawa wouldn't pay it.

Man I really really like Georgiev but our prospect depth is garbage right now so I think I'd keep the picks, just my opinion though. Realistically I think the flames take that deal, Talbot's been a wall this year but the guy is quickly pricing himself out of Calgary
