I like it Versteeg is versatile And good IQ ....good Value too at the deadline!!!! I Wish They could trade Iginla at one point .....For whatever a pic or à prospect or à 2 yr contract like Letestu or similar......Edmonton or Boston have Space .......

Trade Iginla to the Flames at the deadline and take on Stajan's contract for 2017-2018. Av's would likely get a pretty nice pick or prospect along with it, as they really don't need an overpriced center in Calgary going into next year.

I dont see the Flames and Avs being good partners for iggy. After they get Johnny signed, they will have tight cap issues, so Avs would have to take a bad contract back or retain iggy salary to make it work...which I dont like.

I dont think he retires after this season, so I could see him returning to the Flames as a UFA. I would like to see Iggy go to a team like the capitals at the deadline.
