I like the idea of the Shattenkirk trade -- under normal circumstances, the Blues would definitely need more for Shattenkirk, but with his contract expiring that's not far off -- but the Oilers and Wild trades are totally unfeasible.
Fast is less valuable than Yakupov, and Staal is even less valuable than Ference. Although Staal is younger and somewhat less useless than Ference, his contract carries a $5.7M Cap hit ($2.45M higher than Ference's) and still has 5 years left on it (whereas Ference's expires at the end of this year). No team would be willing to take on Staal's contract for the modest upgrade he represents, especially with his NMC meaning that they'd have to protect him in an expansion draft (Ference also has an NMC, but since his contract is expiring, he will waive it for expansion).
The Wild trade is much closer to being fair, but Minnesota has no need for Klein.
