On yeah for sure. I know Mark Stone is better than obviously, but that trade was also done at the deadline where players usually don’t get traded for there full value. However Byram has inane potential and I wouldn’t fully feel comfortable giving him up if I was in your guys shoes, even though Kyle Connor is very good.

Stone was traded with an extension in place so it wasn't a typical deadline trade. Though Ottawa were nonetheless admittedly under pressure to move him given that he was a pending UFA.
