Farabee is fine but he's still a mid 6 guy, Patrick may never play again, JVR is a cap dump here and won't fetch a 2nd in a flip and the first should be 2020 no conditions

Technically cant be a 2020 1st because if they did trade Gaudreau it likely wouldn't be until they've already signed Hall. Unless they've secured his rights before the draft the timing doesnt work.

Patrick's injury woes is why I put the condition on the 1st, but yeah its certainly risky. Flames would have to dig deep on him first and be supremely confident that he'd play.

JVR is still potting 20+ goals and 45+ points yearly. At $5 million AAV I would think he'd return a 2nd rounder easily, even with a flat cap. Jason Zucker just returned Galchenyuk, Calen Addison and a conditional 1st for a comparable.

You should keep in mind that Flames owners have never once retained a contract and probably never will

Still no interested in Gaudreau. He's great and it would be cool to add scoring but our team is deep upfront already. I'm not interested in trading Farabee, but I get those are the types of players you have to include to get players of this quality back. The Flyers just took a step forward this year and don't need to blow it up for a reset. We are legitimately a RHD and a backup goalie away from true contender... maybe a 3RW depending on Patrick/Frost.
