Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Ottawa Senators 2020-2021 roster if LA takes Byfield and Detroit takes Rossi. This assumes Drysdale spends one more year in the O.
Lines are in no particular order as they will most likely be switched almost every game and they'll all get pretty even ice time just like last season. Big improvements expected though and will be more competitive than people think.
Also Pierre will probably sign a bunch of random UFA veterans so there may not be this many spots for young guys though I do think all of the ones here are ready to make the jump permanently

I would not sleep in Rossi. He can easily turn into a #1 centre and he is one of the most NHL ready player in this draft (even more than Byfield IMO). Detroit just took a RD with a high pick last year in Seider so Rossi might be the best choice here, especially if he's considered the better player by Detroit's Management like I do.

The way I see it, Ottawa will get one of Byfield/Stutzle and one of Rossi/Drysdale

Maybe, but Stutzle is ranked higher than Rossi in every mock draft and Drysdale is an ELITE skater out of the back. Can never have too many good Dmen. I don't see any combination where OTT gets both of them.

I never said that Rossi will be picked before Stutzle. I was saying how it's very possible Detroit takes Rossi at 4. Tough decision but it's what I would do. This post is in the scenario where that is the case.

I agree he should be a top 5 prospect jsut not for Ottawa. This is their chance to get 2 elite forward prospects
Ottawas right side (while Drysdale would be the top of the list) already includes for the next 5 years:
Zaitsev
Thomson
JBD
Brannstrom
Jaros
Zub

Brannstrom is a “both sides” Dman, and so is Jaros. Zaitsev, just don’t get me started. He is one of the worst defence man in the nhl.
