I like Gourde, would help Rangers bottom 6....Question is:

If you get a first round pick/some other great offer for Georgiev, would you make the deal, then CBO Hank, and then sign Hank again to a 1 year affordable backup deal?

....that would be cap circumvention and illegal lol. If I could get a 2020 1st + for Georgiev I'd do it yeah. I also don't think they'll get that now. I do* think they'll get that in 2022 when this bridge contract is up and 1 of Wall/Huska/etc is ready anyway.

at least after the post season since that's when they'll have an actual idea of revenue for this year and thus cap for next year.
