Dude Cernak is 23 (only a few years older) than Liljegren and has already solidified himself as a solid top 4, physical, shutdown guy, where as Liljegren isn't ready for the NHL, pretty far from that even IMO

I truly want Liljegren to be part of the Leafs' d-core for the long term I really do but the value is there for this particular trade (Bracco has no value)

The leafs would be crazy not to take that trade, Liljgren doesn’t seem to be developing into the D man that every leaf fan said he would. They’re in big time win now and Cernak is pretty much the ideal D man for that team.
