Pretty realistic but I think Galchenyuk takes a 1 year deal and Dermott takes a 2 year deal max. If it is more than 2 I think he gets 2.5-3.

Oh yes I agree. Meant to sign Dermott to a 3-year deal. I think a three year deal at that price is decent for Dermott to let him develop and prove himself and honestly I personally don't know how much lower he would ask for. For Galchenyuk, I was deciding between a 1 or 2-year deal, figured a two-year deal might be better for the team and the player as it gives Galchenyuk 2 full years to prove who he really is and the in two years the Leafs probably can move on from him, but they at least get him for an extra year rather than a rental.

Going with a 21 player roster is tight. I would rather see at least 22 players on the roster. That being said I would personally not sign Galchenyuk and use his 2.1 million towards two players at 1 million or less. Engvall is fully capable of playing the third line and we have kids that can use the opportunity to of NHL minutes to develop on the forth line. Brooks, Korshkov and there is Gauthier (there is a good chance that Goat will be picked up on waivers if sent down)
