Bitetto over niku.. cmon

Hahaha I was waiting for someone to comment that...I just don't have a lot of confidence in Niku from his play with the big club this season. Playoffs are a whole new ball game too.

But you have confidence in bitetto! I would rather almost anyone over that guy.. niku way ahead of him

I agree Niku WILL be better than him 110%, I'm definitely in the minority when it comes to Bitetto too, sure he's nothing flashy but he's not the worst extra D to have. I just have a hard time tossing Niku in during the playoffs. Who knows though, the margin for the 2-3 spot was VERY close anyways so I just went with the vet.

Gotta disagree about Bitetto, he is hands down easily the worst extra dman to have. I watched every Jet dman this season play steady, solid defense EXCEPT when they were paired with Bitetto and then their play declined and often significantly. I get that a better D partner can elevate the other guys play but I've never seen one guy drag down the other like Bitetto did, never understood why Nogier and Schilling were in the press box and Bitetto was dressed, classic Maurice decision though unfortunately.

Maybe I should have paid closer attention, almost every Jets fan says the same. I realize he's a good "locker room" guy but maybe that's where he should stay haha. I've always liked Nogier, plays an extremely simple defensively aware game. I hope he gets more games next year!
