A lot harder to get that perfect 1st pairing RD though, no one is handing Paraykos out especially on a deal that would fit the Leafs salary with a flat cap. In a perfect world, the Leafs find that guy to play with Reilly allowing Lehtonen or Sandin to play alongside Muzzin and the other plays with Holl on the 3rd pairing but doesn't seem realistic

Doesn’t have to be payayko. I think a guy like Manson or even Demelo would fit good next to Rielly

While Demelo fits that defensive style, don't really see him as a top pairing guy in the Leafs system and Manson would be a large trade, same as Parayko

I think lilly could get you Manson. I can see leafs landing him in a trade in the offseason. They’re gonna need someone. Can’t run with a Rielly-Dermott pairing. They need someone better

If the Leafs could pull off a Manson deal with Liljegren and not give up much else, it'd be a huge win. Hopefully the Ducks are willing to make a move

Your right... the Holl signing was amazing IMO. If he wasn't under rated or pretty new to the league he'd get at least 3.5-4.

If you watched him in January and forward you would know he is a top 4 defenseman. He was eating 22 minutes and had a +/- 2
