Projected lineups for Boston and Providence. Prospects, both signed and unsigned, shown to which league they are expected to be playing.

I think Vesey wont sign for 3rd line Time, he would more than likely have to be switched with Beleskey

I can get behind that. Switched.

That's a $13M+ third line next year(17-18). Forward depth looks great. Something has got to give before that happens(trade for D).

I would think if Backes plays wing, he gets a shot with Bergy and Marchy as they seemed to have played a role in recruiting him; especially if Hayes has a poor showing at camp.

I have Backes there to babysit Spooner, who hopefully will be traded for a defenseman before his next contract. Sweeney is waiting to see where Vesey signs. If it's with the Bruins there will be a trade.

Why is Rinaldo so discarded. He has a decent chance of making opening night roster. He played over 50 games for the Bruins last year and is likely going to be used on the 4th line.

He's discarded so easily because he is complete garbage and there are better options for the 4th line.

He may be a tough guy that can only be tough and get PIM's but he's not completely useless and if Julien used him last year that much why not use him again. Plus if he played over 50 nhl games you can't demote him to 13F in the AHL

Why are you advocating for such a nothing player? He used him last year because Sweeney gave up a 3rd rounder for him, and they had to see if he could give the lineup anything. He gives you the occasional big hit, and as a 10-12th forward, that's not enough. They have better options available to play.

That trade has Neely written all over it.

Lol seriously. Sure maybe he could be a 13th forward with Boston but either scenario Rinaldo isn't making a contribution to the Bruins directly. Who cares?
