Miro can play RD.
This trade wouldn’t happen with Dallas for a few reasons.
1. Seattle draft means we would be losing either Lindell, Trouba, or another pick just to keep the two.
2. We need youth up front.
3. We need the draft picks.
4. In two years, the cap hit for Klingberg, Lindell, Miro, and Trouba would be way too high.
I’m sure there are more reasons, but that should be enough. It’s not like we wouldn’t want him, it’s just that it isn’t realistic.
sure but it's not ideal.
1) I don't think Seattle would take Lindell even if you expose him. They're pretty steeped in analytics at the management level and Lindell is pretty miserable across the board there, especially given who his partner is. It's similar to Dan Girardi with Ryan McDonagh. If Lindell gets taken, it would be AMAZING for the Stars franchise. Miro steps up to top pair, Harley comes up to the 2nd pair, and you guys are set with the cap.
2) I'd argue you already have a ton, Gurianov, Hintz, Dellandrea, Caamano, Masherin is a solid squad for F's.
3) I'd say you're being way too passive, You're not in a rebuild, you're already a playoff contender, this is where you transition to making moves to get to the cup. Unless you want to be in a perpetual 8th seed state like Buffalo.
4) No disagreement, but Lindell's cap hit is already way too high lol.
