If I could go through history and select a team of the best players to face a team of stars in the future, this would be the team I select. Loaded with speed and talent. I selected a lot of fairly recent players and fewer players from the days pre-helmet. I wanted speed and skill. A lot of tough choices. I considered guys like:
Goal: Brodeur and Dryden
Defense:Chelios, Red Kelly, Denis Potvin, Larry Robinson, and Scott Stevens
Forwards: Beliveau, Clarke, Forsberg, Bobby Hull, Lafleur, Lindros, Mikita, Morenz, Richard, Robitaille, and Trottier.
This is way too difficult and controversial of a team to make. Guys like Modano, Sakic, and LaFontaine aren't even in your "considered" list and you have McDavid on the roster who, correct me if mistaken, should be on your "future stars" team right? That would make more sense. Ron Francis? Marcel Dionne? Jari kurri. Too tough - at least try to make an A/B team

100%
In saying that, to put Orr on the 2nd Dpair is like puting Gretzky on the 3rd line lol.
He is the undisputed best dman of all time, and the undisputed 3rd best player of all time (Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, then a grey area)
