Y tho. They dont need Murphy, cernak and gudas. They already have holl who is good on the 2nd pair with muzzin and liljegren who will be good on the 3rd pair. Just murphy would be fine

No he isn't. Murphy is suppose to replace. Barrie and one of Guds or Cernak will be the rh guy the leafs need. Holl is not getting top 4 minutes. If he gets top 6 d minutes he will be fine
Dermott is not good enough for top 4 minutes too. Cernak + Murphy can eat those minutes.

Holl's most common partner was Muzzin this season and it wasnt close. They played against top competition while on the ice together and had a 52.92% corsi and 56.26% xG. Holl had a higher GAR and xGAR with supposed "top pairing, Norris defenseman" seth jones.

They need someone who can play with rielly. Holl has been playing very well with muzzin and liljegren will do well with sandin. There is absolutely no need to get another guy to play with muzzin when they already have a guy who does extremely well, is loved by dubas and is the perfect defenseman in keefes eyes.

I don't think you get Walmark for Kerfoot....let alone them throwing a pick in there...I like Walmark…..but so does Florida and he will be cheaper and just as good as Kerfoot
