No McDavid = 1 star

He made some changes from what I saw

I was waiting until someone said something about McDavid. I realize that McDavid is about to be, if not already, an elite #1 center in the NHL but I am biased towards Eichel.

This doesn't seem to be about dollars for production. But in the case of dollars for production, you take McDavid. He can play 4th line, but he still makes the team for CAP reasons. I cant believe that is even a concern here when Sean Couturier for $4M was selected to this team... Do any of you know how many players making less then $4M a year had more production then Couturier last season? He hasn't had one season with more then 40 points? Why is he on this team? Erik Haula???? If your taking Laine, you take Mathews over Haula all day... Overall, I don't know why Panarin didn't make this list either? He has 77 points last year and a $800k cap hit. I would drop Pacioretty, Couturier, Smith-Pelley & Price leaving you $16.6M to play with. Take Panarin (77 Points) $800k, Kane (106 points) $10.5M, Kuznetsov (77 Points) $3M & Brian Elliot for $2.5M (.930 save pct. *best amongst goalies playing 40 or more games).

You have to be more resourceful when coming up with a "best team under the CAP"

You do understand that you need some defensive players on your team right? Couts is one of the best in the game.
