I can actually see this happening but not Kaut, possibly Jost. Zadorov is gone in July Canadiens might be good.

I agree completely.
I think Jost would be a better option as he’s a C/Winger and the Habs would be better off having that type of option, but I chose Kaut solely because he’s more of a true C over Jost and I can see Bergevin going more in that direction.

Jost is a centre who converted to wing to play top 6 minutes on the avs.. kaut is a RW, always has been, never played C professionally or in amateur tournaments

If Kaut is more of a true C, that means Montreal would want Jost more, since they obviously already have too many centers right now.
