Marleau trade sure, Hainsey..... dont think hes needed this defense will be fine when dumo and marino are back. As a depth piece he is fine but no need to pay that much for him

Yeah I felt it was an overpay but I looked at it this way. Bjugstad is pretty much useless this year anyway, Hainsey had success here and would be an upgrade over JJ until Dumo gets back. Then would be an upgrade over Ruhwedel until Marino gets back. Then he’d have to fight for a spot with JJ. I think rotating them in and out might be good. But reports just came in that marleau trade is almost done. Apparently it’s 2 picks instead of a pick and lower prospect.
