I like it. Don't think Weidman is a good fit but he isn't completely terrible. Still think you over value lemieux and undervalue petan. Petan was a ridiculous junior scorer that should translate to NHL scoring if playing with talent.

The thinking on Wideman was basically to exchange heavy contracts. Both expire after this season. I like Postma but I still stare at the roster and think the Jets need another RHD option. If Trouba moves full-time to the left as is being projected, the left side now seems much deeper with Trouba, Enstrom, Morrissey, Stanley, and Chiarot. Poolman may someday back up Buff and Myers on the right side but there still seems to be a body short. Can't get anyone too good or else the Jets would lose them to Vegas.

Nice looking lineup. Petan is due. I'm hoping he comes into training camp bigger and stronger. I saw him out of equipment last year and he was tiny.

If Morrissey becomes a top 4 dmen trouba will move back over. They could use a depth rhd. I real good ahl vet that can play bottom pair NHL mins if need be. The moose need dmen help and puck moving dmen at that.

In three years time, does the top 6 end up:

Morrissey - Byfuglien...or.....Trouba - Byfuglien
Stanley - Trouba....................Morrissey - Myers
Chiarot - Myers......................Stanley - Poolman (?)

I still think it looks better with Trouba on the left.

In 3 yrs time I don't think buff,myers and trouba are all on the jets one will be gone. The other 2 are your top 2 rhd.
Morrissey will be your number 1 LHD and Stanley won't be NHL ready yet. Mist likely jets have made some moves a kid like green (very underrated) might be ready. Hard to say.
