I think it's clearly worth it in term of value, the only problem is, even if Bean is NHL ready, he play on the leftside wich make the the habs right side with only Weber. Fleury or brook a not ready to take as much minute as Petry and even when they will be, Weber will be older and less effective.

He said they would move their first, but not willing to do it on a rental which Petry is not. LeBrun posted this exact same trade and said that the Habs don’t view bean as a potential top 4 dman (🥴). Guessing this one doesn’t go down.

Mete is basically useless as a defender. Great speed, no vision, no shot, can't defend in front of the net or in the corners. He can do an ok job as 3rd pair Dman on the irght if you want but clearly not close to replace what Petry can do.

I know is not close from Petry but have speed, good stick and good positioning

That's about it. Not a solution short or long term. If fleury and Romanov make the team next year and Petry is still here, I dont even know how to justify is roster spot seriously.

Carolina isn't a Petry away from winning the cup, Giving up Bean and their 2020 1st round pick would be a major mistake.

It’s 2 years of Petry, so Slavin-Hamilton Pesce-Petry Fleury/Edmundson-TVR is pretty solid d core IMO
