Kap is a solid 200ft player and has obvious value. He could spot into any line and in any situation. I would argue he is the best player in this deal. Holl is a great offensive weapon from the backend and very good skater. He does need someone with him to help anchor him in the defensive zone.

I know a lot of Leaf fans have this infatuation with Holl, but the fact is we have a bunch of mobile puck moving offensive minded d-men and need to shore up our end of the rink. Savard solve this without giving up a lot of mobility. Anderson would be a welcome physical presence with the opportunity to resurrect his season, and would dull the sting of losing Kap.
