If Murray is firm about getting in the neighbourhood of $7-8M, I say trade him. I don’t think the pens will pay the goalies $9-11M because it will make it hard to sign all the RFA forwards. I hope McCann (3.5), kahun(3), and Simon(1.5) will make less. It would be so much better to go with Jarry and DeSmith (providing they are as good as we know they can be) for maybe Jarry at 3.75 or what not and DeSmith at 1.25 for the last few years of Sid and co.
