As a Wings fan I think Andersson is someone the Wings should stay from especially with a young locker room. He threw his silver medal into the stands at the WJCs and he walked out on his team mid season. If he would've held out at the start of the season it can be overlooked you know it's coming and a team can prepare for it but mid season you put your team and teammates in a bad position. Is JP an NHL player it looks like it's split down the middle with 50% thinking he is and 50% thinking he isn't. I don't think he is and I've been very vocal about it but if I had to take one either JP or Andersson I would choose JP every time. I think holding on to Bowey is a better idea than bringing in a player who hasn't played an NHL game in over a year. Bennett is having a bad season comparable to Hirose's season but Bennett has 4 good seasons under his belt and is worth quite a bit more than Hirose. I have no idea how NYI values Ho-sang. Perlini and Erne haven't done much at all and I doubt they could bring in a whole lot but they are young. So if they are or aren't on the roster next year I don't thinks it matters much. Biega, Daley and Green all over 30 and falling apart quite rapidly I'm not sure any of them will bring more than a 4th. IMO resigning any of them is just going to take away roster spots that prospects that need to play to get better. Glendening has the best chance of bringing in a decent return out of all Detroit's over 30 players. If he doesn't get traded I'd have no problem with Detroit resigning him he is still pretty quick and he works hard and plays hard and is a good example for younger players coming up.
