Term... hamonic is gone next year and keerfoot has 3 years left. Lw and 3c aren’ t a need so the trade makes little sense but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the value. Especially the way hamonic has looked this year.

Flames trade value is not good, regardless of term flames say no. Change the 6th and 7th rounders to a 4th and you would be pretty close I think for the NYR.

the cost of a backup goalie is outstanding. the #'s don't support that he is capable of handling #1 goalie duties yet and even nyr doesnt believe that he is a #1 or they would keep him but he does shows flashs. Kappy is a 20 goal man, that is a pk guy on a good contract and is a rfa after this contract which is huge value. Pretty sure nyr would be all over Kappy 4 Georgiev and tbh i wouldn't make that deal. Also, I believe Tor is conflicted and arent sure if they are capable of being competitive in the playoff so they might be in a wait and see mode until closer to the deadline to see where they stand. Leafs could become sellers.
