Yea that’s true. Barrie hasn’t been what I expected him to be. Johsson looks to be replaceable and I wouldn’t mind bringing back spezza. Muzz is 31 and he could be on the tail end.zad could be another him. He’s tough, good on the pk good shot and a good first pass. He’s been amazing for us. Yea a extra 2 mil so a small trade with someone could help.

I really like most of these proposals. I think Engvall will get a tad more maybe another 500k. Everything else seems reasonable. i like the idea of taking a fly on Francouz if we cant acquire Georgiev. Not sure the chances he signs with us are that great though if the Avs have any desire to resign him. I like the Zadorov trade but only if we are confident in Dermott playing his offside. I almost hope when we get Muzzin back that Ceci has a little injury so that we can try Dermott on his offside in the NHL while keeping Sandin up with the leafs. I might try and squeeze all the fringe 4th liners to league minimum instead of 800k. id go hard at them all right now like we did with Marincin to sign them to two year 700k extensions to get them all at below league minimum before it bumps up in the summer. This is not a big deal obviously just trying to pinch pennies. I honestly think that Bracco will be traded before next season starts. Not sure what the return would be, but obviously the speculation is he will be included in a package deal. I actually hope for his sake he is traded to give him an actual shot to make a roster.

yeah id be fine with Spez getting a raise. He might want to keep it really low still since he is cup chasing at this point in his career though.

I forget to mention i think we would have to add to get Zadorov as well. The Avs might be looking to move a LHD at some point during the summer but they might opt to move Cole since hes a bit older and closer to UFA status than Zadorov. Graves has emergence and Byram might make Zadorov expendable but they wont want to sell cheap on him. The physicality which makes him desirable to the leafs will make him desirable to lots of other teams. With Johnssons injury he probably wont be able to put up the point totals which would make him a great 1 for 1 trade partner for Zadorov. I dont really consider Krals trading rights to be worth much of anything.
