Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

1) Regarding mikheyev .. If tendons were severed, you are looking at a 3 month+ period just for the tendons to recover after being stitched, its not like muscle or skin that can quickly heal.

THEN u have physiotherapy for another 1-3 months to recover strength, make sure tendons dont snap under pressure, so u have to build then up over time.

You are more realistically looking at a 6 month recovery period maybe more.

2) Kreider is an amazing player. Who knows what get's it done. Maybe throw in another second? Not sure but I really think with how deep this years draft is and shallow next years (kinda looks but of course can change) rangers are looking for draft picks this year. First rounders anything past 20th drop off in terms of skill by a lot. So if you consider the range from 20th to 130th is basically the same rate of making the nhl and being impact ful. I think Grabbing more seconds for a chance of hitting it is better than a single first.

Who knows really but I think the leafs are really in on Kreider.

3) Kreider is a rental and alot of teams don't want to pay an extreme amount for the "right now". Given how he is on the top powerplay with NYR and he won't be on Boston, Toronto, etc. You are looking at the effectiveness of this play dropping. Like example for leaf fans is barrie, for CAPS fans is shattenkirk . People when given more chances generate more. Look at matthews now that he is playing 22 minutes to 23 he is generating more points per game.

4) Georgiev will be a great replacement for Freddy after his contract is up and great backup. But only time will tell.

Lines: Don't change the hyman - matthews - marner line. They would well together

Kreider - JT - Nylander line would be fun. Kreider is a nice chippy person I'd like to see play with them.

Engvall - Kerfoot - Kappy line would be great.

4th line is the "we are not really going to play you together line. Just throw in you to fill in gaps of time". So really doesn't matter but Moore is great so is spezza. And goat is doing decent.

Come playoffs time the dee core is looking weak but not much you can do. Best bet is to just wait and try your best. Anything that we really need will cost to much. And people who say "trade with XYZ cup contender/playoff team for their defenceman.." you are talking about an extremely costly ask for something we need for now. And why would they give that up? lol

6) btw leafs arn't trading ceci with picks for nothing just to get rid of cap space.
