All the analytic people loved Colin Miller's defense also. Tuch is having a down season, got concussed twice and is seemingly still working through it. He will be fine, power forwards can take an extra season or so to fully develop. He had 20 goals, 52 points in 74 games just last season. That's including a fair bit of time on a third line.

If you would want Tuch then something like Ristolainen would have to come back. Something Vegas could use. I've seen that trade suggested by other Sabres fans, Tuch has four extra seasons of a friendly cap hit but I could see these teams doing something with that.
