Really not a bad lineup by any means.

I disagree with the above poster. No way I'd rather have Jimmy Howard's contract over AMac's when it is the same term and more money. Plus I don't like the lineup with Yak on line two and Laughts as a 3rd Line center. I think the Flyers are better off with their lines going Schenn, Raffl, Laughton on the LW and looking for help at C or RW. It's not bad, but it doesn't really make the team any better. When Coots becomes our 3rd Line C that is when the Flyers will be good.

Nate, good points. Although Howard's contract is 2 years less than AMac's. I think everyone misses the fact that Couts is a third liner.

Why would the Oilers trade Yak for Mase when they just traded three picks for Talbot last season? They're bad, sure, but their defense is much more of the issue.
