Definitely not. I think Habs would do well if they could get out of that contract. And Seattle would do well in getting someone like Price to sell jerseys. Remember, pit had to PAY Vegas to take fleury. While historically price has been a much better goalie, his contract looks really bad. Let’s see how he finishes out the remaining seasons before expansion draft

This. If Price plays like an average / decent #1 goalie. MTL might just try and get of of the contract. Price would most likely waive as he is from BC, not far from Seattle. Seattle probably bites with Price's star power to sell jerseys and with Seattle probably seeing how Fleury turned out for Vegas. It could be a decent match for both teams as is.

BUT a lot of things would need to happen between now and then. If Price can't stop a beach ball 2 years from now, then now way Seattle takes him. If Price can go back to playing like a top 5 (or at least top 10) goalie, no way Habs give him up. Also, Habs would need a suitable replacement already in place to even think of letting Price go for nothing. Either internally *eyes on Primeau* or externally via UFA or trade.

Exactly. It’s way too early to start speculating about Seattle taking price. He still has a lot of hockey to be played. If he gets back into form, no chance Habs try and ship him to Seattle.
