There have been a few sources talking about it. And if you think about it, Vesey would be idiotic to not at least consider it. Very good chance he gets a shot with Toews and Hossa and is on a Cup contending team. So what, you aren't in Boston, who cares? Get over it. Sure, Toews would probably enjoy playing in Winnipeg and Kane would enjoy playing in Buffalo, but not like they'd pick to play with those teams over staying in Chicago. I'm sure it's a long shot that Vesey comes to Chicago, but he would be foolish to not really consider it.

With that logic he'd consider every team lol. He's got major in's at Toronto, Buffalo and Boston. Why would he go to a team he has no connection to? He might as well go to Anaheim to play with Getzlaf and Perry and for the weather lol. Please use actual data to support your opinions, otherwise its just crap.

There are a few different articles tied to him and Chicago. Like said previously, it's not a formality, but dismissing it because the chatter isn't as strong for Chicago is crap.

And with that logic, every team has a chance of winning the Cup next season.

So you're saying if you were in his spot you would gladly go to Vancouver, Arizona, Calgary, Winnipeg, Colorado, etc? Be realistic man, I'm not saying VESEY IS GOING TO CHICAGO. I am saying it would be foolish on his part to completely overlook playing with Toews and Hossa and having a shot at a Cup RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE. Do I think he will come to Chicago? Nope. But he should at least strongly consider it.

Admittedly I'm the 3rd Hawks fan to say this, but he HAS to consider it. I'm not saying he HAS to go to Chicago, but If I made the lineup for Chicago, it would be Toews Kane and Vesey next year. Those two have literally been proven to be better than Getzlaf/Perry. Panarin needs to earn his money so put him on the 2nd line with Hossa. The Calder is great...I hope he enjoys the extra $3M CHI provided him. Panarin, Anisimov, Hossa is still a very formidable line.

However, I wouldn't quote Jaeckel...those don't come true...like ever...

Yeah, they don't typically pan out, but the names he throws around typically hold water. I know what you mean, and of course I don't take his words as religion, but I think you would agree this one might have traction.

Senior VP/GM Stan Bowman of #Blackhawks was in Foxboro tonight watching Jimmy Vesey in the pro league.
